Privacy Policy
Aisle & Ink ("we", "us") is a wedding planning website operated by Aspire Inclusive Solutions in Ontario, Canada. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have. We follow Canada's Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).
What we collect
- Your wedding plan: names, wedding date and location, guest names, RSVPs and meal choices, vendors, budget amounts, reminders, and anything you type into the planner, including your vow notes.
- Payment details: when you buy, Stripe collects your name, email, billing address and card. We receive your name, email, billing address and what you bought. We never see or store your full card number.
- Unlock codes: we keep a record linking each unlock code to its purchase.
Where it's stored
- On your device: plans you haven't shared stay in your web browser. Clearing your browser data deletes them, and we can't recover them.
- Shared plans: when you invite your partner, the plan is stored with Supabase, our cloud database provider, so both of you see the same plan. Anyone with your invite link can open and edit that plan, so share it only with your partner.
- Payments: processed by Stripe, which handles card data under its own privacy policy.
- Our providers may store data outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be accessible to authorities under local law.
How we use it
- To run the planner and keep shared plans in sync.
- To confirm payments, unlock paid features and send receipts.
- To answer your questions and help you recover access.
- To keep records required for tax and accounting.
We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't sell or rent it to anyone.
Other services our pages use
Our pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, which means Google receives your device's IP address when a page loads. We don't use advertising trackers or analytics cookies.
How long we keep it
Shared plans are kept until you ask us to delete them. Purchase records are kept for at least six years, as Canadian tax law requires.
Your choices
You can ask to see, correct or delete your information at any time. To delete a shared plan, email us your invite link and we'll remove it within 30 days, usually much sooner. If you're not satisfied with how we handle a privacy concern, you can contact the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.
